Accreditation, how relevant it is?

There are lots of documentation need to be done in the department that I’m working with currently, MQA, Setara and well, you know all the list of accreditation. All these are ‘very crucial’ to produce students who are book smart rather than street smart. Apparently, upon graduation, students will NOT be asked about the APA references and what did you learn in your xxx class. When you graduated, everything will be about hands-on and how do you handle real life event. Can I just create a subject with a title of ‘real life reality’ and the credit hours will be xxx hours? LOL!

Well, as told my one of my charming lecturer, Dr Fir, “everything must look good on paper despite of what will you achieve for your end result” (He is so good in giving all the understatement)
