Hopefully I have the chance to watch this musical theatre performance either tonight or tomorrow.
I met him Azmyl by coincident and he invited me to this musical theatre. At first I’m not interested, because it is quite costly. And before this I have never has pay for any entrance fees for any theatre that I went to. BUT after listening to his soundcloud (https://soundcloud.com/azmyl?utm_source=soundcloud&utm_campaign=share&utm_medium=facebook) I changed my mind. He wrote good songs and have a good voice.
Well, let’s see how it goes~
Coordinated a workshop by Prof Colin Beard, the workshop was about Experiential Learning techniques. Colin Beard is a Professor of experiential learning at Sheffield Business School. He started with Zoology, and time passes by he is now holding a PhD in experiential learning. He received and award from the National Teaching Fellowship (UK Higher Education Academy)
The two days workshop was very fruitful to me even though I could not apply it in my class (cause I’m not a teacher neither a lecturer, but one fine day I’ll be one with an industrial experience. Well, I don’t want to be ‘just-a-lecturer’ with my future PhD)
Prof Colin’s workshop was the second workshop / talk that I have attended that was really interactive and informative. The first one was a talk by one of the well known street photographer in Malaysia, Eddie Putera. There are so many (too many) interesting activities during the two days workshop and this is one of the most interesting workshop materials :
Hmmmm….how does this related to experiential teaching?
